Privacy policy

How this website handles information, and how Naari Hospital handles your medical records. Written in plain language, and kept accurate to what actually happens.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to naarihospitalamreli.com, the public website of Naari Women's and Children's Hospital and Endoscopy Center, Near Old Panch Maliya, Opp. Vijay Arts, Manekpara, Amreli, Gujarat 365601, India.

What this website collects

This website does not require you to create an account, and it does not ask you to log in. We use one analytics tool to see which pages are useful, described below. We do not run advertising or remarketing trackers, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell data to anyone.

  • Enquiry form. When you submit the form on our contact page, the details you enter — your name, phone number, the type of enquiry and your message — are sent to our email address at naarihospitalamreli@gmail.com so we can call you back. Delivery is handled by FormSubmit, a third-party form-forwarding service that passes the message on and does not store it long-term. Please do not enter medical details, test results or anything confidential in this form — it is for arranging a callback, nothing more. Discuss your condition with the doctor, not through a web form.
  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are actually useful. It records the pages you view, your approximate location (city level, from your IP address — never your exact position), your device and browser type, and how you arrived, such as from a Google search or a link. It sets cookies to recognise a repeat visit. We do not use it to identify individuals, we have not enabled Google’s cross-device advertising features, and nothing you type into the enquiry form is sent to Analytics. Analytics data is never connected to your medical records — those are held entirely separately, as described below.
  • Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
  • Embedded map. The contact page embeds a Google Maps frame. Loading it involves a request to Google, subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

Cookies

This website sets Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_…). They expire after two years and are used only to count visits and tell a returning visitor from a new one. They hold a random identifier — not your name, phone number or anything you have told us.

Nothing on this site needs cookies to work. You can block or delete them in your browser settings and every page, including the enquiry form, will function exactly the same. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Third-party services referenced above (Google Fonts, Google Maps) may set their own cookies under Google’s policies.

Medical records and patient information

Information you give us at the hospital — your history, examination findings, test results, images and treatment records — is separate from this website and is handled under Indian medical confidentiality obligations. In summary:

  • Your medical information is shared within your care team only as far as your treatment requires.
  • It is not disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where the law requires it.
  • Fertility treatment records are treated with particular care. Consultations happen privately, and what you share stays between you and your care team.
  • You may ask for a copy of your own records. Bring identification and ask at reception.

Insurance and cashless admission

If you use cashless admission, we share the information your insurer or third-party administrator requires to process the claim. That sharing is necessary for the claim to work, and it is limited to what the process needs.

Children

This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them. Pediatric medical records are held under the same confidentiality obligations as adult records, with parents or guardians exercising access on the child’s behalf.

Your choices

Because the website collects no personal data directly, there is nothing on it for you to delete. For medical records, contact the hospital using the details below to ask about access or correction.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website or the hospital handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
