The people behind the promise
A principal gynecologist who also leads the IVF practice, a consultant gynecologist and a consultant pediatrician — one team covering the whole journey. Meet the doctors that 1,400+ families keep recommending to their own.
Who are the doctors at Naari Hospital, Amreli?
Three consultants lead care at Naari. Dr. Chirag V. Kubavat (MBBS, DGO, Fellow in IVF and Reproductive Medicine) is the principal gynecologist and endoscopic surgeon and leads the IVF programme. Dr. Vijay Nakarani is Consultant Gynecologist, covering routine women’s health and antenatal care. Dr. Upasana Kubavat is Consultant Pediatrician, responsible for newborn and NICU care and child health.
I provide optimal healthcare in a relaxed environment — and treat every patient as if they were my own family. Dr. Chirag V. Kubavat
Dr. Chirag V. Kubavat
MBBS · DGO · Diploma in Gynec Endoscopy (CICE-France) · Fellow in IVF and Reproductive Medicine
Dr. Kubavat is Naari's principal gynecologist — the hands behind the hospital's gynecology, obstetrics and endoscopic surgery practice since its founding in 2017. Trained in gynecological endoscopy in France, keyhole surgery is his home ground.
To that mastery he has added the hospital's newest speciality: IVF. He leads Naari's fertility programme with a surgeon's judgement — so every patient hears all of their options, surgical and assisted alike, not just the one a clinic happens to sell.
His work is recognised beyond Amreli: he has been an invited speaker at Indian Fertility Society academic programmes, presenting on the evolving role of laparoscopy in the IVF era to fellow specialists.

Dr. Upasana Kubavat
Consultant Pediatrician
Dr. Upasana Kubavat leads the children's side of Naari — from the newborns in the NICU to the toddlers and school-goers of the OPD. She is the reason "women's and children's" is more than a name on the building.
Her practice completes the promise the hospital makes to every family: the same team that watched over your pregnancy watches over your child — checkups, illnesses, growth and milestones, in the building where many of her patients were born.

Dr. Vijay Nakarani
Consultant Gynecologist
Dr. Vijay Nakarani strengthens Naari's women's health practice — consulting across gynecology and obstetrics, from routine OPD care and antenatal visits to the management of gynecological conditions.
With a consultant gynecologist working alongside the hospital's IVF and endoscopy practice, patients get something rare in a hospital this size: a second experienced opinion just one door away, and a team that never has to guess what the other doctor would say.

"The doctor takes time to explain."
That line — in different words, from different families — appears throughout Naari's 1,400+ reviews. It's the habit the whole team is built around: nurses, sonographers and support staff included. You will always know what's happening, and why.
